Ae Zindagi... Thoda dheeme chal, thoda jeene de !

Jab main chota tha, shayad duniya bahut badi hua karti thi…
Mujhe yaad hai mere ghar se school tak ka woh raasta,
Kya kya nahi tha wahan,
Chaat ke thele, Jalebi ki dukaan,
Barf ke gole, sab kuch…

Ab wahan, mobile shop, video parlour hain,
Phir bhi sab soona hai,
Shayad ab duniya simat si rahi hai...

Jab main chota tha shayad shaamein bahut lambi hua karti thi…
Main haath mein patang ki dor liye ghanto udaya karta tha,
Woh lambi cycle race, woh bachpan ke khel,
Woh har shaam thakk kar choor ho jana…

Ab shaam nahi hoti, Din dalta hai aur sidhe raat ho jaati hai,
Shayad waqt simat sa raha hai…

Jab main chota tha shayad dosti bahut gehri hua karti thi…
Din bhar woh hujoom banaakar khelna,
Woh doston ke ghar ka khana,
Woh ladkiyon ki baatein, woh saath mein rona…

Ab bhi kai dost hain par dosti jaane kahan hai,
Jab bhi traffic signal par milte hain, “Hi” ho jaati hai,
Aur apne apne raaste chal dete hain,
Holi, Diwali, New Year par SMS aa jaate hain,
Shayad ab rishte badal rahe hain…

Jab main chota tha khel bhi ajeeb hua karte the…
Chhupan-chhupai, langdi-taang, tippi-tippi-top,
Aur ab internet , office se fursat hi nahi milti,
Shayad zindagi badal rahi hai…

Zindagi ka sabse bada sach yahi hai,
Jo aksar kabristan ke baahar board par likha hota hai:
Manzil to yahin thi bas zindagi guzar gayi meri yahan aate aate…

Zindagi ka lamha bahut chota sa hai…
Kal ki koi buniyaad nahi hai aur aane wala kal sirf sapno mein hai...

Ab bachh gaye iss pal mein,
Tamannao se bhari iss zindagi mein hum sirf bhaag rahe hain...

Yaar, thoda raftaar dheeme karo...
Aur iss zindagi ko jiyo… khoob jiyo mere yaar.

Land of Lungi

Traveling in a snow-white amby (Ambassador)
With my driver and his name is Thambi
Said he was a recent Gelf returnee
Gave me soda glass of brandy
Welcome to the Land of Lungi
Everybody here call it God's own country

Appam stew and meen curry
You better taste I know you like it simply
Got stuck in a jam in Delhi
I was sad because I no maalum Hindi
The cars on the road are so crazy
I turned to Police and said SIR JI...
I come from the Land of Lungi
Goes well with a Khadi sanjee
Everybody here drive like Mungee...
Road is good but traffic here, Excuse Me!

Met a man in a bar in Dubai
Thick mustache having Beef fry
Said his T-shirt was Lacoste
Big gold chain and mitsubishi
He said, he come from the Land of Lungi
Everybody here call it God's own country

Double stitch and call it Kailee
Wear it white with starch call it dhoti
I come from the Land of Lungi

Women sweet Men are very hairy
Lift the cloth show-off your one good knee
You become very very sexy
Welcome to the Land of Lungi

Kappa Beef, Fish Molee
Weather is hot and food is spicy
Better taste I know you like it simply

Dedicated all my mallu friends. Also to mishtu's boss! :P

By your side...

Come, stay, lie here
in my arms,
Have reasons, none, to fear
in my charms,
Calm down my dear....

I will always be there - standing, holding, loving..
by your side....

Shhh.., quiet! Hear now my songs
Let your thoughts sway, fly, in the sky above
breaking the bonds that hurt your love...

I will always be there - standing, holding, loving..
by your side....

Wish, hope, dream again with me
by your side
Aboard our love's plane
across the sky
through the starlit lanes
Blossom your wings
and fly...

I will always be there - standing, holding, loving..
by your side....

What a trip, man!

This is not the 1st time i am visiting Kerala. This beautiful journey didn't start today when I boarded the aircraft. I would say it rather started the last time when i left Cochin. I had never traveled in a propeller aircraft, such a smooth experience, like never before.
This time, i wasn't thrilled like last time but the aircraft which took me to Cochin from Bangalore made it memorable. Since then, i m feeling perfect! I was traveling by Jet Airways with pilot Krishna Mahadeva and co-pilot Rohit in a propeller type aircraft yet again. What a smooth journey! I could never forget the pilot crew as i had never seen anybody driving that good. I could remember my rival Dylan and Bob from Need for Speed! They picked up such a speed at the Bangalore runway, even while taxi-ing! Smooth touch down as well, but the memorable part was the journey. I have never seen Indian pilots taking such a steep turn confidently, which was towards the side I was seated. I got a lovely view of the earth surface, a breath-taking moment. Right in the middle of the air, pilots stopped the engine, with no atmospheric turbulence, we were gliding down, what a feel again! Addressing of the passengers was very polite and informal by the pilot crew at all instances.
I got a gift set on scratching a card and got a lady watch at the airport terminal.
Let me now introduce you to Mr. Mani aka Manikuttan, my chauffeur. He took me to one of the finest resorts to have a filling meals which was typical keralite(i could make out by the way rice was cooked). Village kind of ethnic ambiance was the key point to be noted there. After ambiance, the micro-climate inside the resort made me more hungry! After heavy lunch, I took some time to relax in an easy-chair and then lied down on a swing. Swinging gently and cool breeze kissing me. I felt like building such a house and spending all my life there. Mani then said,"Sir, its time to leave. You already got 2 phone calls from the place where you have to go-MES Ponnani. Slept all the way in the car and reached the customer site where my business partner and his service engineer had also come. Conducted a site survey and advised about the network setup for the site and devices to be used. Spent major part of the day working at the site giving my customer an excellent wireless coverage!
Mani now suggested that Guruvayur is just 30 mins away from where we were. I, at once, asked him to drive me to Guruvayur. This was my 1st time to Guruvayur. He helped me with a fine accommodation where I could sleep with less comfort as I had to wake up early to see and meet the Almighty-Krishna. So, checked-in, had a nice dinner and dozed with no further delay as I had lots of appointments the next day as well.
Got up at 3am, reached the temple at 4am to see a huge crowd. That day was auspicious, people were pouring in from all across southern India and from other parts as well. Unbelievably, I did "japam" of gayathri mantra and "hare krishna" till i got a lovely view of the almighty, which was for about 3 hrs. Lord was so small, so dark inside a tunnel kind of arrangement. I could only see his golden crown HE had worn. Then on the way back, had a nice breakfast and started for Cochin. Unfortunately this time, we didn't cross that resort else I would have become lazy for the rest of the day! It was Milad-un-Nabi on that day so we could see small school kids singing songs, doing roadshow, dancing. It was a treat again as we passed by.
Reached Cochin, addressed few of our business partners located there in the cruel, hot sun! Then, got my back moving towards the airport. I reached well before time. Heard songs, ate some crap to while away time. I will not mention what else I did there to kill time. ;) Again, enjoyed a lovely low-altitude flight back to Bangalore and the drive from airport to home was like a smooth drink passing via my throat. It seemed much soothing as I was dead tired working and traveling all day in the sun. Reached home, threw my bag, changed clothes and jumped onto the bed!

Curtain falls!

Kamalalayam

My grandmother, like everybody's grandmother , was an old woman. She had been old and wrinkled for the twenty two years that I had known her. People said that she had once been young and pretty. My grandfather and my grandmother's anniversary photo was hung above the mantelpiece in the drawing-room. He flaunted a nicely cropped hair and a loose-fitting clothes. The wrinkles on his face, especially his forehead made him look atleast a hundred years old. He doesn't look like a person who would have a wife or children. He looks as if he
could only have lots and lots of grandchildren. She often told me of the games she used to play as a child. That seemed quite absurd and undignified on her part as i treated it like fables of the Prophets she used to tell me.

She had always been short and slim. Her face was a crisscross of wrinkles running from everywhere to everywhere. No, i was certain she had always been as i had known her. Old, so terribly old that she could not have grown older, and had stayed at the same age for twenty two years. She could never have been pretty; but she was always beautiful. She worked like an ant in the house in stainless sarees with one hand holding a utensil and the other telling the beads of her rosary. Her silver locks were scattered untidily over her pale, puckered face, and her lips constantly moved in inaudible prayer. Yes, she was beautiful. She was like the winter landscape in the mountains, an expanse of white serenity breathing peace and contentment.

My grandmother and I were good friends. My parents left me with her when they were busy with their own not-so-busy schedule. She used to wake me up in the morning and get me ready for school. She said her morning prayer in a monotonous sing-song while she bathed and dressed me in the hope that I would listen and get to know it by heart. I listened because I loved her voice but never bothered to learn it. Then she used to fetch my school bag in which she already cleaned and arranged my books and checked the level of ink in my pen. After a breakfast of a thick, stale chapatti with a little butter and sugar spread on it with a glass of milk, we walked till the bus stop. She carried several stale chapatties with her for the street dogs.

My grandmother always came with me till the bus stop because it was attached to a temple. In the afternoon, before I arrived, she used to sit and wait for me in the bus stop reading the scriptures. When I arrived and she finished, we would walk back together. This time the street dogs ould meet us at the temple door. They used to follow us to our home growling and fighting each other for the chapatties we threw to them.

When my parents could comfortably settle in a bigger, better apartment, that was a turning point in our friendship. Although we shared the same room, my grandmother no longer came to bus stop with me. There were no dogs in the streets and she took to feeding sparrows in the balcony of our new house.

As the years rolled by we saw less of each other. For some time she continued to wake me up and get me ready for school. When I came back she would ask me what the teacher had taught me. I would tell her English words and little things of westen science and learning, the law of gravity, Archimedes' principle, the world being round, etc. This made her unhappy. She could not help me with my lessons. She did not believe in the things they taught at the English school and was distressed that there was no teaching about God and the scriptures. She rarely talked to me after that.

When I went up to University, I was sent to hostel to live on my own. The common link of friendship was snapped. My grandmother accepted her seclusion with resignation. She rarely left the kitchen to talk to anyone. From sunrise to sunset she spent time in kitchen preparing something or the other and reciting prayers. Only in the afternoon she relaxed for a while to feed the sparrows. While she sat in the verandah breaking the bread into little bits, hundreds of little birds collected round her creating a veritable bedlam of chipings. Some came and perched on her legs, others on her shoulders. Some sat on her head. She smiled but never shoo'd them away. It used to be the happiest half-hour of the day for her.

When I decided to shift to a different place for work, I was sure my grandmother would be upset. I would be away, and at her age one could never tell. But my grandmother could. She was not even sentimental. She came to leave me at the railway station but did not talk or show any emotion. Her lips moved in prayer, her mind was lost in prayer. Her fingers were busy telling the beads of her rosary. Silently she kissed my forehead, and when I left I cherished the moist imprint as perhaps the last sign of physical contact between us.

But that was not so. After four years I came back home and met her at the station. She did not look a day older. She still had no time for words, and while she clasped me in her arms I could hear her reciting her prayer. Even on the first day of my arrival, her happiest moments were with her sparrows whom she fed longer and with frivolous rebukes.

In the evening, a change came over her. She did not pray. She collected the women of the neighbourhood, went for rounds of our block and sat in a park for som chit-chat. We had to persuade her t avoid over-straining. That was the 1st time since I had known her that she did not pray.

The next morning she was taken ill. It was a mild fever and the doctor told us that it would go. But my grandmother thought differently. She told us that her end was near. She said that, since only a few hours before the close of the last chapter of her life she omitted to pray, she was not going to waste any more time talking to us. We protested. But she ignored our protests. She lay peacefully in bed praying and telling her beads. Even before we could suspect, her lips stopped moving and the rosary fell from her lifeless fingers. A peaceful pallor spread on her face and we knew that she was dead.

We lifted her off the bed and as is customary, laid her on the ground and covered her with red shroud. After a few hours of mourning we left her alone to make arrangements for her funeral.

In the evening, we went to her room with a crude stretcher to take her to be cremated. The sun was setting and had lit her room and verandah with a blaze of golden light. We stopped half-way. All over the verandah and in her room right up to where she lay dead and stiff wrapped in the red shroud, thousands of sparrows sat scattered on the floor. There was no chirping. We felt sorry for the birds and my mother fetched some bread for them. She broke it into little crumbs, the way my grandmother used to, and threw it to them. The sparrows took no notice of the bread. When we carried my grandmother's corpse off, they flew away quietly.

Next morning the sweeper swept the bread crumbs into the dust bin.

I ll miss you badly! :'(

You're my Rainbow

Everyday I walk around in a world full of interwoven dreams, One with drops of joy, clouds of sorrow and an air of intention lying above my head. I'm counting those symmetrical tiles of kaleidoscopic space, thinking of all the colors unseen And then I look up at you, and you bring back every color on my face and in my heart and I realise what life means

You're my Violet, the passion in my soul

You're my Indigo, the deepness of my sky
You're my Blue, the calmness of my sea
You're my Green, the everlasting color of eternity
You're my Yellow, the sunshine when I'm down
You're my Orange, the fun, craziness and beyond
You're my Red, the anger in my eyes
But most importantly, You're my Rainbow, The melangé of all insignia, momentum and the working of my world

How many ppl smiled coz of u 2day?

When we take birth on this planet, we cry and everyone laughs at us! I believe in this, we should do such deeds all through our life that when we die, we should laugh and everyone else should cry... There r numerous ways suggested in our holy scriptures 2 achieve this. But who bothers 2 read all tat in this fast moving world. But i dunno how ppl find time 4 reading volumes of novels n watching episodes of TV soaps. Getting out of this habit is almost impossible. Lemme be frank, it is possible by only those who had immense experience wid all this! My parents say, i hope every parent will tell this to their children, time is precious, dun waste! Time is precious 4 those who hav a materialistic aim. If i set my goal 2 ride a BMW, i ve got only 40 yrs of service 2 rug my bum hard in office, earn tonnes of money by hook or by CROOK! n as i knw, many... many set such targets. Our parents r correct if they/we hav such targets in life. But according 2 me, time has got no meaning, v r all immortal. now as i said immortal, many wud hav opened their mouth wide! seeing me mention "immortal", immediately their mind wud hav added an Armani suit 2 tat existing BMW! thanks 2 our incredible thinking n imagination powers. But keep them in ur pockets! carefully notice tat every offer comes wid conditions apply** :D
A person who hav had enuf experience in this world or who is brought up in a gud environment, wid nice ppl, will learn 2 make others happy. But a solidified steel is always harder! I m not at all talking abt becoming a saint, i m talking abt becoming humans 1st. Have u ever given a thought why u r born? OMG! wat question hav i asked... i beg ur pardon 4 this! Everything is a union in this world. eg: hand, legs, mouth, etc. r different parts but belongs 2 a superset named Body. legs works 4 our hands, hands 4 our mouth, likewise, every part of our body works 4 each other. But does any part expect anything is return? likewise, consider this world 2 be a system. Ppl r its parts. Will it be ok if v start expecting? wat ll happen if our hands expects something frm our mouth 4 d food it feeds? body will lose its sync! ok, now i agree wid my fellow frnd, who says tat self enjoyment is necessary at times. Now i hav a question 4 him... if v were all supposed 2 enjoy by our own? why wud some1 give us birth whr d bloody human population is already overflowing? why can't v all take birth on diff. planets? when mother nature has created so much, can't she do this? wat do u think? so can u now see a bleak ray of reason behind our co-existence?
Loving ppl, (whoeva it may be... regardless of language, caste, creed, all other social dividers) like ur own self is d essence of life. Even if 2day if u stop whr u stand n juz think abt d past on wat all u spoke n did wid ppl u neva knew n if u imagine urself in their shoes at tat vry moment, u may feel so bad tat ur inner self will kill u. Try doing tat every nite b4 u go 2 sleep. I neva say, go 2 temples, offer prayers. But juz spend time wid urself. Find time 4 urself 2 analyze ur deeds, ur words tat u left uttered. Play ur role widout any expectations frm d co-stars. Infact, teach ur co-stars gently if they underperform n grasp tats lacking in u. Its all abt doing things 4 others, coz v r here juz 2 serve ppl, juz 2 make others happy, directly or indirectly. This kind of thought will come not out of spoon feeding, not out of forcing upon some1, but wud come out of no whr (2 be scientific)! Anyway, v r all gonna die 1 fine day, n can't take away d smallest piece of matter frm here. So, lets enjoy by making others enjoy(Newton wud feel proud 4 developing his 3rd law after reading this). Pledge today, not postpone, tat i ll strive wid full acceleration 2 make more n more ppl n other creations happy! wid this u ll be d change, n will neva expect something else 2 change! I m today writing this 4 u, my dear reader, coz i follow this myself, else i wudn't be delivering such a noble msg so beautifully 2 u. Thanks 4 reading it, n i wud be much more happy if u implement!

In Pursuit of Happiness...

Many ppl: writers, poets, playwrights, even filmmakers, n above all our religious scriptures hav given us elaborate lessons on happiness, but still many of us haven't got it right. I m not some1 who may giv u d perfect way 2 achieve happiness. But juz try this as well.
Lemme giv u a self-derived theorem.
"Wateva we do, or if any changes occur in nature, v can be sure tat it happens only 2 bring more happiness."
This theorem may appear 2 be failing at certain instants, but such appearance is a mere illusion. Thr is a corollary 2 this as well.
"Anything done or changes made 2 bring unhappiness will require more force n energy, n this will always be lesser than d forces of nature."
Like force n energy r physical quantities, happiness is an eternal, divine quantity which can only be felt. One may consult any physicist or refer 2 any physics text, n u may find tat everything will tend 2 reach equilibrium or a more stable state. Even stability as a term may carry only a physical meaning. In this article, this theorem of stability has been extended.
1 may wonder tat how come every change occurs only 2 bring more happiness. I shall now discuss some vry small examples taken frm our day-2-day life.
1) We all get up in d morning, brush our teeth. But y? y shd v do it? ok, try not brushing n u ll feel uneasy while having anything all thru d day. It makes us feel fresh n happy.
2) Wat if v eat pizza wid curd? how wud it be? But v generally hav it wid tomato, mustard or chilli sauce juz 2 taste better n make us happy.
3) V all keep our rooms tidy n clean. Y? It makes us feel pleasant as soon as v enter it. Who wud like enter a dirty, stinking room.
4) V all fall in love n marry or marry n fall in love juz because it makes us feel on top of this world. V knw tat thr s some1 who ll give their everything 4 us!
5) I m writing this 4 my satisfaction coz this article may benefit some1, make some1 lead a better life. Wen i see some1 feeling better brings me happiness in return.
Likewise everything happens 2 bring more n more happiness. Rather in our ancient scriptures, its said tat wen GOD created this universe, he was fully determined 2 bring ntn else but immense happiness. V all knw tat GOD is omnipresent so v need 2 be pleasing wid every1. Infact, bringing sadness/grief or any negetive feeling is so difficult , as difficult as rowing a boat upstream! But its so surprising tat ppl row d boat upstream wid more ease than rowing it downstream! Finding a path of happiness is juz a matter of proper decision-making.
Many say tat d cause of happiness is relative. Here by referring 2 many ppl, I point 2 those who r ignorant. According 2 me, both d cause n d state of happiness is absolute. Thr is no scale 2 measure happiness. Its an art of enjoying d present. Infact, I haven't chosen an apt title. It shd hav been "Happiness in pursuit of u". Being happy is so simple, rather d simplest! But 4 making ppl happy, they need 2 taught abt it in d most complex way. If they r taught in an easy n simple way, they feel tat their GURU is not well-read! Enjoying each n everything which v come across in our daily lives will bring happiness.
Lemme raise a question: How many of u wud enjoy standing in a long queue on a hot, sunny day?
Well, I dun think anybody enjoys tat. But wen i think of those standing behind me, I feel blessed. Wen i think of those ahead of me in tat queue, i appreciate their devotion tat they came earlier. Now juz luk, how beautiful it is 2 see every1 being so different yet all of them hav d same tolerance level, level of patience. Think, in tat heat, how beautifully they were all crafted by Lord Brahma. Other than this, wen i wait in a queue, i come across many things which makes me happy n keeps my senses engaged. This was juz an example.
Work which is not done to bring happiness to 1 or many also if not done out of interest is sheer waste of energy n resources. To this work, many may oppose or/and criticize, but 1 shdn't give up, rather pray 2 d almighty 2 give d ability 2 finish wid maximum efficiency n u, urself row upstream wid full mental n physical energy having juz 1 thing in mind: Wateva outcome this work produces will add 2 d peace n happiness in our society. Some1 is gonna smile coz of u!
SPREAD SMILES! :)

Love is not blah blah blah... Then wat is it?

Love is not a valley of tears
it is the plain of smiles, in lives

Love is not a cloud of fears
it is the sky of confidence, in minds

Love is not a house in doubts
it is the rain of trust, clearing dust

Love is not an award to relish
it is to lose trivials, from hearts

Love is not a string of timely events
it is the diamond bead necklace, of moments

Love is not falling like petals
it is the opening up of bud, new everyday

Love is not undressing with hands
it is the caress with eyes, through nights

Love is not pointing out flaws
it is the tapering with understanding, gradually

Love is not bowing oneself to feet
it is the soft hug of respect, for togetherness

Love is not a storm of feelings
it is the eternal peace, afterwards

Love is not a war waiting for declaration
Love is not a deal signing proposal
It is that sense of belonging
as one sacred union
before anything
is tagged 'love'

With love, Bismillah!

U mite hav come across many ppl in ur life! many means a vry large number. but out of tat quantity, i wud like 2 point at a noble person named Bismillah Khan. With this info, many readers mite be instantly mapping this name in their brains, n searching. Some may knw but some won't. lemme add 1 more detail 2 his name, ustaad bismillah khan. Even now, some more mite hav reckoned him, n some didn't. now adding 1 more detail abt him, he was a shehnai player. Now many hav got who i m talking abt. thr is a reason 2 y am i taking his name wen thr r many ppl like gandhiji, obama, rehman, n many more.
this man hails frm banaras(varanasi). i wasn't fortunate enuf 2 meet him personally at home but i somehow made it 2 his concert thr. he is an "upaasak of naad-brahma puja," an embodiment of "ganga-jamuna tehzeeb", he was a symbol of secularism. this man is known 2 vry less number of ppl. ppl knw A.R.Rehman, Yaani, Elvis, Michael Jackson, etc. as gr8 musicians but this man was 1 step ahead of them all but instrument was not well-known. The person who hosted tat concert told, "He was d undisputed jewel in d crown of Indian music; one who will not be born in d nxt few centuries. He gave a whole new meaning 2 shehnai".
As i knw him, he was not a person who played 4 money or fame, he neva even used 2 leave his favourite banaras whr during my stay thr, i cud see d notes of his shehnai wafted across d Kasi-Vishwanath n Sankat Mochan temples n intermingled wid d placid waters of d ganga. This was enuf 4 me 2 become his fan. I like him 4 his simplicity n humility which is guided by d love he has 4 his ppl. After earning fame, he refused requests frm d district administration n a company selling air-conditioners 2 hav an A/C installed in his room. 4 this he said," How i cud hav slept in d cool comfort of d A/C wen my neighbour Ramzan Ali poured buckets of water on his "tattar" 4 keeping d heat away in summer".
According 2 d religion of Islam, thr r 5 things a muslim shd do. And this man obeyed all d 5 wid passion!
A life constantly n search of d right Sur. Something tat he always tried 2 find in not juz his music but in his human relationships too. This was his only prayer, n sadly, this had been his only crisis.
Yes, despite immense love frm d public, despite gr8 recognition 4 his art, he had always been a lonely man. Soft-spoken n often at ease wid his lonely state. 2day v hav blogspot 2 share our feelings, but he used 2 celebrate his solitude musically in his dilapidated terrace room n tried 2 share it directly wid d blue, clear sky. He was compelled 2 perform 4 money 2 keep his family going but this humble genius was neva on d lookout 4 material happiness but only craved 4 human love.

Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye. Main sirf khuda se maangta hoon ek sachha sur jo mujhe abad kar aur iss jahan ko abad rakhe.
Main ahat hoon lekin suron mein hoon, aur ek waqt aayega jab main ahat nahi hoonga kyunki suron mein anahat kii bhi vyavastha kar rakhi hai Khuda ne...

He represented d bridge between classical music as nurtured in d royal courts n its popular versions presented on proscenium stages of d world. He elevated d shehnai frm sounding d auspicious notes at weddings 2 a magic instrument 4 classical hindustani music. He enhanced d instrument's range, innovating wid d cross fingering system2 produce gamaks n tonal modulation appropriate 2 d spectrum of sound required 4 hindustani music. D unique tone tat characterized his shehnai was d testimony 2 these innovations. But perhaps gr8er than all these achievements was d fact tat he represented a world n a worldview tat has all but disappeared 2day. [:(]
He did not become a gr8 shehnai player coz he hailed frm a family of court musicians or coz his guru or uncle Ali Bux 'Vilayatu', was a temple musician in Varanasi. His gr8ness lay in d fact tat he was. And as long as he was, he played.
True genius is Sui Generis! Its hardly surprising tat thr is no obvious inheritor of his mantle. Musicians frm all over d world made a beeline 4 his home in d temple town, lending it an all2gether diff dimension as a pilgrimage centre. Humble it was, as he treasured no wealth more than his shehnai. It was his companion which he placed 2 his pillow after his wife's death. This person being a Muslim worshiped Maa Saraswathi, a true secularist . His pluralism n tolerance were not learnt. They were instinctive n non-didactic, something tat flowed naturally in d context of his being. He belonged 2 a generation tat worshiped NAAD, d abstract principle of d perfectly tuned note n also a perfectly tuned soul. It was d pursuit of this goal in a culturally composite context tat defined his gr8ness!

Few questions 2 bother!

Thr r so many questions arising in my mind...
Y r ppl like this?
Y does every1wants everything 2 happen their own way?
Y does bloody every Indian parent want their kids 2 be rank holders?
Y d hell r ppl competing wid 1-another?
Y is tat d bloody currency notes r given more importance than d man possessing it?
Y r ppl greedy wen Maa has given her kids everything in abundance? Rather she doesn't knw 2 give less!
Y do ppl juz get carried away by d artificiality of things?
Wat makes ppl miss out d real beauty in a thing?
Y r HER kids so narrow-minded, wen Maa is so broad-hearted?
Y r HER children d way I've seen?
Wat do u think is d reason tat Maa created every1 uniquely? Even twins born at d same time frm d same womb r different in nature!
Wateva maybe d reason, y don't HER kids realize tat?
Y does every1 want 2 be d same?
Getting a MBA degree, becoming a technocrat, doctor, rank-holder, CEO... Y can't ppl think beyond this?
My dear readers, juz think, y can't ppl think unique, creatively inspite of being given a unique body, brain? This is juz like u give different inputs 2 different experiments but still u get d same output!!! Am i going into deep psychology? V r all gonna be revolutionaries, these r juz d sparks which ll ignite minds n tat ignition will set this world right! I want my readers 2 learn abt d essence of life! Life is not juz abt doing something, getting appreciation frm others... frm others, here, i mean those idiots who did nothing all their life n r alive 2 juz pass comments on ppl who did atleast something gud. God shd bless those "others"!
Instead life is all abt discovering urself, ur interests. Note here, its UR interests. Then spending all ur life mastering, further polishing n being on a pursuit of attaining perfection on wat v hav interest. So tat at d time of death, 1 can feel happy, take a breathe filled wid satisfaction n thank Maa 4 giving such a beautiful life n such a beautiful playgrnd!
All this seems 2 be nice heard n said, vry few hav d guts 2 ponder over it n act. Lemme share wid u 1 more fact. If i show this piece of writing 2 my parents, I knw wat they ll say. They ll say, "All this is fine, but u wasted ur time writing all this. This wasted time cud hav been utilized if u had studied ur syllabus, u wud hav scored more n wud hav got a better job!" This dialogue they uttered without thinking seems 2 me like a scolding! Its vry natural 4 them if they react in this way, coz they grew up playing in a bounded playground like a fish in a well. Whreva they turned their faces, they saw a huge wall in front of them. They were not so fortunate 2 hav read this at a tender age wen our activities doesn't become habits. They juz acted thinking abt wat tat person wud say or wat this person wud say if i act tat way or this way, ultimately did ntn, juz thought n tat too wat others wud feel/think!
But i don't think this 2 be a topic of thouht at all. Did mother nature provide us wid a finite playgrnd 2 play our games of life?
Did she eva enforced any rules n regulations 4 d game of life?
Then who r those ppl who tell us 2 do things as they like?
Think unique, Do unique n thus, BE unique! But everything wid love n compassion 2wards 1 n all....

Don't juz think, feel b4 u act!

Few ppl take their lives 4 granted. If they took their lives 4 granted, it wud hav been better, coz atleast it is under their control 2 a certain extent, but they take others also 4 granted!!! Now, here is whr things go wrong. People don't stand in other's shoes n think twice b4 they act. They juz hav an attitude tat this world is infinite, if this person is lost, some1 else wud fill d void so caused. Here, their thought process comes 2 an end. But I wish 2 slightly extend this thinking process & want ppl 2 think abt d intensity of damage n harm tat particular person may cause who is going 2 create a void. This funda can also be explained wid d help of solid-state physics. An electron moves out of d atom giving out energy, unless it is forced. I wudn't explain this in much detail as it has less significance wid this article. V neva knw d amt of damage 1 can cause. A person shd neva underestimate any1 4 tat matter... If, 1 fine day, d person who is gonna create tat void turns lunatic, he may even get 2 d extent of making u helpless n hold a gun next 2 ur head n get his work done. And nobody can neva find him, even if found n arrested, he ll be out on bail d vry nxt day... This is d beauty of India, Indian Police, CBI, Indian Constitution!!! U ll be neva given justice n he ll be off, creating tat void which u always wanted! Although its juz a probability abt which I am talking, but thr is always a chance of such cases 2 take place.

At times, some mite hav noticed, I too did... ppl juz ignore some1's plea saying tat "I m busy, kindly turn up a bit later", d language is generally rude at times accompanied by rude tones as well!!! By citing this, I wanna convey tat ppl juz think of themselves & simply cease 2 think, how d person wud feel who heard this & was indirectly ignored. Mind u, this dialogue wud hav been uttered only if d door was knocked gently! Instead, if it was a pistol on his head, then tat dialogue wud hav been, "Yes Sir, Wat do u want me 2 do now?" or ""Sir, wat kind of help do u expect frm me? u ll get full support frm my side." This wud hav been d mouth saying all these. Now take a look at his/her trousers, u ll find them all wet!!! :D
An example... A poor man goes 2 a court 4 legally killing his disabled son. Here d disability is extreme, d boy can't see, can't speak, is mentally retarded, physically challenged. To tat poor man, his son is juz a burden. On approaching a court, they say tat u cannot kill any1 like this legally, coz nxt time some1 else will come wid a similar case. Wat d court said was right, but d panel didn't consider d poor man's condition. They neva had a look at his hut. They neva felt standing in his shoes! This is d way ppl r...
Another case... An indian prisoner had 2 be released frm pakistan. His whole family pleaded 2 d indian as well as pakistani govt 4 d prisoner's release. Tat family consisted of 2 daughters of age 24-25, his old wife! They were all financially weak. The govt had cases of spy against tat prisoner. Even after so much of plea both by d family n by our govt., tat prisoner is yet 2 be released. Several independence n republic days passed by but he s not out free! In this case, pakistani govt. failed 2 understand some1's feelings, how d life of tat old wife n her young children be in ruins... Instead, if it was Ambani inside d jail room of pakistan, he wud hav been released b4 his family requested!!! Rules r rules, i agree, but thr is something called feelings attached 2 every1. Tat shd be considered, understood n above all respected.
This is 1 amongst those many beautiful concepts which i want my readers 2 learn.
By letting out n pointing at such boring n beautiful concepts, I don't mean its impossible 2 achieve a postive attitude as i expect. Rather, if I felt it was impossible , I wud hav not written this piece of shit! Now u may all wonder on why am i calling this shit... Shit coz it lies on d road, almost everywhr u turn ur face(atleast in india) but still ppl don't notice or they juz walk over it, as if manuring their footwear!!! They don't dirty their legs but also destroy d beauty of our indian roads (those lumps of shit here n thr adds beauty 2 our roads!)

Again d above para may seem as if i m adding humour 2 my writing. Haah! U went wrong if u thought so. I was rather serious, seriously making u breath d indian air!!

Now let us come 2 d scene juz b4 d climax of my writing... The Pursuit...
The problem i had described is not caused by an individual, but many. This is d spark 4 many

problems/crimes. So, thr r 2 types of solution 2 this problem:
1) d hard way
2) d soft way
Hard way... ummm... 1 must hav experienced such kinda casual attitude or such ignorance abt which i was talking abt. That experience shd hav made d volcano inside them 2 erupt. Else u shd hav ignored something or some1 n paid a heavy price 4 tat, almost equivalent 2 ur life! But such experiences r got only by chance. If u hav survived all d above, then u hav learnt d lesson i wanted 2 teach!!! Things learnt d hard, ruff n tuff way r neva 4gotten, they remain wid us 4 a lifetime!
Yet thr is another way of learning this, it is by following my words carefully n by reaching d depth of d ocean of feelings till whr i hav taken u. 1 shd not juz learn, but also imbibe such qualities of showing affection, wateva maybe d circumstance. Love n affection will only make this world a better place 2 live in. But i personally don't recommend this kind of learning coz d reader may hav doubts due 2 d imperfection in my writing.
I ll wish tat my readers not juz read my articles, but instead engrave d concepts into d back of their minds & further suggest new & innovative ideas 4 solving such a social problem.

Juz close ur eyes after this n imagine, how this world wud be if every1 arnd u be nice 2 u n understood u at every point in ur life...

Thank You!
